Yeast infx: Vaginal yeast infections can thrive and begin with a sugary environment, which is why they are more common in diabetic patients with high "sugar" levels. Antibiotic treatment can decrease the normal bacterial concentrations which naturally help counterbalance the vaginal environment, thus causing an overgrowth of yeast. So as far as diet, avoid a very high sugar or carbohydrate meal. Best wishes.
