My mom just underwent brachytherapy to treat her cervical cancer. is there anything we can do to alleviate pain once the anesthesia wears off?

Brachytherapy: Important: Did she have pain before the sleeve was put in? Reason if so, then her pain may be from something other than the brachytherapy such as the cancer itself. The sleeve should not in and of itself be causing pain unless there are issues with it. Her pain level should be the sameish after the procedure as before. If pain worsens after procedure other than slight discomfort get checked
