Not always: An abdominal aneurysm is in the deep tissues at the back of the abdomen so may not be seen on a keyhole type surgery. Would be visible by CT or often ultrasound if you had those studies before your surgery. If concerned an ultrasound is an easy non invasive study that can help. Talk to your doctor and realize that high blood pressure and smoking are two key risk factors
