Surgical re-excision: Unfortunately the way you healed is not uncommon even with the best surgeons. The best option to repair it is the have the hole re-excised and sutured, but best after you are sure the cyst has not recurred, which can happen in about 20% of patients. If it recurs, a full elliptical excision is best to avoid future recurrences and holes.
