Humidifier: Carry the baby into a steamy bathroom and sit with it until you are uncomfortable. This will help with congestion. If baby is uncomfortable or looks ill, please call your pediatrician (3 mos old).

Mgt/workup: Babies breathe through their noses, and gently removing the mucus with a suction bulb and nasal saline will help to alleviate the symptoms. If he continues to cough or is any distress please see the ED. They will advise regarding a possible cause including RSV and pertussis.
