Depends: It is common to have ectopic beats when checking one's pulse or EKG (sometimes they are asymptomatic, sometimes they are manifest clinically as palpitations). As long as they are isolated (occurring individually) and occurring in an otherwise structurally normal heart they are generally not worrisome. Would have an Echocardiogram done, and if normal with no symptoms, would not worry. Good luck!
