No: When you do go make sure you go with your spouse. You say you have had 3 miscarriages already. That tells us that you can produce eggs, your husband's sperm can fertilize them, and they can grow for a while in your uterus. You might have a "soft" cervix for which they put a circular suture tightening up the opening of the cervix (circlage). If that's it you odds are excellent.

No=need a workup: After 3 you deserve more information and the referral is how you start the process. Some who have miscarriages have a problem uterus, some have a balanced chromosome defect, some have no identifiable problem. If you have a chromosome issue, you might be able to have a normal baby or all could abort. The uterus issue could get fixed. You need answers & this is how you find them. Don't give up yet
