A member asked:

If i know i conceived 14 weeks ago, does that make me 14 weeks pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Would be 16 weeks: In reality, conceiving 14 weeks ago seems like it should be called "14 weeks pregnant", because the baby fetus was created 14 weeks ago and is now 14 weeks old. However, the standard way of counting pregnancy weeks is to add 2 weeks before conception, to arrive at the estimated date of the last menstrual period prior to conception, and call this a 16-week pregnancy.
