Numbness in leg: Numbness in your leg implies an issue with nerve conduction. That could be caused by several conditions of the nervous system or your immune system attacking the nerves. You might also have circulatory issues, causing your leg to "fall asleep". You need to see a good clinician who will get a thorough history from you, a good physical and laboratory exam and help you figure out what's happening.

Numbness: Not being able to feel pressure, or hot or cold, is unnerving. You probably have the short-lived numbness of an asleep limb.Numbness coming from a low back problem can be nearly continuous and can severely affect a person’s quality of life. If your numbness doesn't resolve in a day or two consult your PCP.
