Anything positive: I think the reason your doctor was concerned was that there was a weight loss after several months. What you're looking for is a rising weight over time that parallels the growth curve, the line that is made when you graph all your child's weights over time and connect the dots -- a growth curve is formed. A gain that is positive by a few pounds over 3 months would be considered healthy
