Muscle spasms: See neurologist for eval, may be pinched lumbar nerves or start of some demylinating disease. Probably not hernia related

Had lap. inguinal hernia mesh repair 9 weeks ago, feeling occasional sharp (but not unbearable) pain at hip line radiating to below groin. I'm checking with my surgeon anyway, but does this indicate failure of repair or recurrence?
