Saphris (asenapine): Absolutely, Saphris (asenapine) can help with the symptoms of Bipolar I or II. While it's true that it is technically only indicated for Bipolar I ... This is also true for most of the medications in the same class. Hope that helps!

Agree w Dr Gaffney : Even if the FDA indication is for Bipolar I Disorder, it can be used off label for Bipolar II Disorder.
