Get checked: It is normal to have a little discomfort and redness around the insertion site. A small amount of bruising can occur. You should not have “massive bruising.” I would schedule a follow up visit with the clinic where you got it inserted. Someone with experience with Nexplanon needs to take a look to determine if what you are experiencing is normal or not.
