Yes. normal.: When the Nexplanon is inserted, there is bruising which hurts and the trauma from the capsule which hurts like getting a big needle put in your arm. remember your last tetanus or penicillin shot? You can take the out bandage off the next day, but if there are cloth tapes, leave that on until they fall off by themselves which may take a week.
