Robs your body: Initially your body will rob your body's stores of nutrients and calories by breaking down your tissues to try and get the calories needed to make the appropriate milk for your baby. It will steal calcium out of your bones and make them weaker if your intake of calcium isn't enough. Eventually, though, the quality of your milk will suffer and you won't make good and/or enough milk for the baby.
