Depends: There are some things that are difficult to predict when placing implants even with good 2d and 3D X-rays. A good dentist knows when to stop a procedure given unforeseen circumstances. That's what the training is about.

More info needed...: Surgical complication? Problem with implant placement? Problem with parts? Was the surgery completed or aborted? Unforseen situations occur, and your provider felt it was in your best interest that he speak to a company rep.
