No: Puberty is a process that takes place over several years. The first signs are usually sweating in the armpits and hair growth there. There are many helpful books on it. One that I recommend to girls in my practice when they reach age 10 is "The What Is Happening To My Body Book for Girls". If the girl decides she wants a woman doc I refer. That has happened twice in 36 years.
