Screening: Detecting cancer before symptoms develop is called screening. Cancers which can most effectively be screened for include cervical, colorectal and breast cancer. Evidence is increasing for lung cancer screening in those with 30+ year history of smoking. Otherwise a cancer prevention lifestyle is recommended: no smoking, normal weight, fruit and veggie diet, exercise, check-ups. Stay well:)

No test or vaccine: There are no blood tests that screen for all cancers and no cancer vaccine. If you keep track of your health and see your doc for checkups every few years they can review your lifestyle/ age/symptoms and screen for any problems like cancer. We are not yet in the age of Star Trek scanners or vaccines, although it may happen some day.
