Many causes: Smoking, viral infections, allergies, air pollution, asthma, bronchitis, post-nasal drip, and gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD, i.e. heartburn) are among the most common causes of cough in outwardly healthy persons. Changes in the weather (humidity) might contribute but not likely to the the main cause. See your doctor if it remains bothersome or otherwise concerned.
