Cough: The most common cause of chronic cough is post nasal drip due to allergic rhinitis, do you feel tickle in your throat or do you do throat clearing. The second common cause of cough is cough asthma and lastly it is acid reflux. Have you tried saline sinus rinse and allergy pills yet ? If cough is chronic and persistent, you will need to see physician or even a lung specialist.

Get yourself checked: The most common causes for dry cough are undiagnosed asthma/allergies, postnasal drip and acid reflux. If you don't want to go to the doctor, you can try otc Pepcid or Prevacid if you think you may have acid reflux, or claritin, zyrtec or ocean spray if you think you may have allergies/post-nasal drip.
