Many functions: Liver metabolizes carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Regulates blood sugar, stores excess glucose as glycogen. Breaks dowm protein into Amino Acids than urea and ammonia. It makes bile that is stored in the gb to be released to help digest fats which it also helps to form. It makes clotting factors and plasma proteins as well. There is why you need to take care of your liver.
