Usually dryness: Twitching of the lids (blepharospasm) most commonly occurs from dryness of the eye. Artificial tears can often eliminate the problem. If this doesn't help, or if there are any other focal neurologic signs or symptoms, other more serious causes must be considered with a complete neuro-ophthalmic exam. Sometimes no cause is found-a condition known as benign essential blepharospasm. Botox can help

Get more rest : myokymia is the technical name and this will stop as soon as you are more rested and sleep. If not, see your eye doctor for evaluation.
