Sensitive area!: So many personal care/drug items say "not for use near eyes" - you need to see a Dr rather than try anything on your own. Eyes are so sensitive and so important that it's silly to take risks. It could be one (or more) of many things - makeup, allergy, germs, etc. Clean, cold compress (or warm - try both) till you go to Dr. Hope it helps.
