Dentist: Unless you have an infection / sore throat, most bad breath, that is not food based (garlic, onions, etc) is from bacteria on the back of the tongue or from gum disease bacteria. See your dentist first for a thorough evaluation, possibly deep cleaning. Until then, brush your tongue or use a tongue scraper to clean off the tongue surface, you will be amazed at the results.
