I'm 7 weeks preg and on 200mgs of morphine sulfate 2x a day. my doc wants me on till i'm past 1st trimester in fear i will miscarry. is this safe?

Pregnancy and morph: Wow - your daily morphine dose is quite high. More importantly follow your doctors advice. The morphine probably becomes more of an issues later in the pregnancy. I would suggest that once the 1st trimester is completed that you try to wean off the morphine.
