Lymphadenitis : Sounds like an inflamed lymph node. It can also be a sebaceous cyst or the beginning of huradenitis suppurvita. The fact that it us painful makes me less concerned than if it were hard, unpainful and fixed. It may be a,reaction to an infection. I recommend that you check it out, especially if it doesn't go away or enlarges in the next week or so.
