Cough/clot: If you cough hard enough you might burst a small blood vessel , have a little bleeding, and then it stops. It does not mean that you are dying of consumption (what they called tuberculosis in the past). You don't sound terribly sick but if things seem to be getting worse or people are giving you dirty looks see a doc.
