Concern, yes: Panic, no. Sharp pain is a call for attention. That's a difference from chronic when there is no 'news'. See your Dr. It's not even a good idea to get ahead of yourself to guess the cause - find out from an exam. It may be simple or not but you'll be able to deal w/ it step by step. Best!
