Having your uvula: touch your tongue is not uncommon. Your uvula may be swollen from uvulitis, a viral infection of the uvula, or from irritation from post-nasal drainage or reflux. Typically this will resolve on your own. You might hasten improvement by taking anti-reflux medication such as OTC Prilosec/omeprazole or an anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen. You can't stop it quickly:) Stay well!
