A member asked:

Is it true that hcg level for pregnant woman before implantation can still be <2 miu/ml? please answer

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Will get neg. result: Lab tests that check one's urine or blood, check only those fluids. Tests count how much bHCG is in either the urine or the blood. So, before implantation of a baby embryo, that embryo is floating around, NOT attached to the future mother. Because the embryo is NOT attached to the woman, and it's too early in the life cycle, there isn't a direct way for bHCG to get into the woman's blood or urine.
