Need Ultrasound: IUD's can move. They can perforate. They can cause infection. My regimen is, ultrasound to identify location. Remove if not properly placed. PID treatment of Levoquin and Flagyl for properly placed IUD's. Persistent pain without other cause requires removal of the IUD. I have fixed 100 % of pain that way.
