Fairly successful: Turbinate reduction can be safe if done in a conservative manner .There are various methods including radiofrequency reduction or ablation with intramural cautery. These methods are relatively successful but might not be as effective as more aggressive methods including surgical reduction with turbinectomies which have increased risks of bleeding and empty nose symptoms.
