Get tested: Symptoms are too variable to serve as an indication of HIV infection. If you had exposure, get tested. You may wish to get a HIV nucleic acid test at about 3-4 months exposure. If it is negative then, and you did not have any more exposures, you could consider yourself free of HIV.
