Likely normal: Since you had eaten a fairly high carbohydrate meal 30 min prior to your glucose reading, your 169mg/dL does not likely represent glucose intolerance. If you check 2 hrs after a meal and it is >140mg/dL, then you have prediabetes. >200mg/dL and it is diagnostic of diabetes. You can check an oral glucose tolerance test with your doctor to help know for sure as well.
