TOOTHpaste: It is all in the name. The toothpaste may have caused a chemical burn in the area. In the future, use products made for the skin and keep the toothpaste in your mouth. Consult with a dermatologist regarding any blemish that may remain.

Toothpaste: Toothpaste is made for teeth, not for skin. There are chemicals in it that can burn or irritated your skin. The area should heal but give it time.

Dermatologist: Toothpaste NEVER belongs on your skin. It's only for in the mouth use. You have created a chemical burn. Please see a skin specialist, a Dermatologist, for appropriate treatment. Don't delay.
