It depends on..: ... which test is being used. Most HIV tests in use today are maximally accurate in the 12 week window you requested. But a few are maximally accurate at the 15-16 week mark (or even longer) and the tester wanted you to get the most accurate answer with only one additional test needing to be performed. Plan to do it at 15 weeks. Or investigate where you can get the "more accurate sooner" test.
