Sciatica: It depends on what you mean by hot flashes. If they are shooting pains down the leg or electrical pains this is likely sciatica (a pinched nerve in the back causing pain in the leg). It usually resolves by itself with mild, but not complete rest, ice to the lower back where the inflammation actually occurs. If it this is not what you have or it does not quickly improve it more info neeeded.

Hot flashes/legs: I don't fully know why but I do know you need to see a rheumatologist as soon as possible.

I woke up one week ago with pain in knee/ leg. Walking makes it get worse, pain radiates from knee to left inner side of leg down the back of calf. It is heavy feeling and when I relax and sit down it gets some better, nothing helps. Xray normal?
