Sciatica: It depends on what you mean by hot flashes. If they are shooting pains down the leg or electrical pains this is likely sciatica (a pinched nerve in the back causing pain in the leg). It usually resolves by itself with mild, but not complete rest, ice to the lower back where the inflammation actually occurs. If it this is not what you have or it does not quickly improve it more info neeeded.

Hot flashes/legs: I don't fully know why but I do know you need to see a rheumatologist as soon as possible.
