Comments: Bigger question, in my opinion, is lack of control of your epilepsy. Over 20 medications are available in the USA, and a Vagal Nerve Stimulator device can also help. Most dentists, have familiarity with a variety of dental splints, and a custom splint could easily be fabricated. So, my advice is to consult a neurologist and a dentist.

Seizures: Hi YEstrada, tongue biting is very common with seizures. yes there are mouth guards but i do NOT recommend them. They are quite dangerous as they are a choking risk during seizures. If you are having frequent seizures, it would be best to see your GP or neurologist for a review of your medication.
