Vaginal bump: The area you describe contain, on bith side, glands which participate in the lubrication of the vagina. There is a gland, called Bartholin's gland, which commonly causes this problem. This is usually due to blockage of the neck of the gland. As the gland continues to produce secretions the blockage causes the gland to swell up to form a Bartholin's cyst which is usually nontender.
