Ok: Alkaline phosphate levels in children are often marked as HIGH as labs will use adult numbers as reference. This marker is present in liver, bones, muscles and intestines. As teens are in major growth of both bones and muscles they often have higher levels than adults. Without knowing the rest of the history or lab issues I don't think this lab value is a clue to the fatigue. http://www.mayomedicallaboratories.com/test-catalog/Clinical+and+Interpretive/8340
