Opposing effects: Marijuana is a beta stimulant, hence it will raise your heart rate whereas metoprolol is a beta receptor blocker. When drugs have opposing effects it is rarely symmetrical and sometimes unmasks other effects of one of the drugs. While probably not dangerous, there will be interaction and modified effects.
