A member asked:

Gas bubble in eye?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Placed at surgery: Gas bubbles are used at the time of intraocular vitreal surgery for retinal detachments and macular hole. They go away by themselves. Small bubbles occasionally occur with intravitreal injections of medicines. Those bubbles are small and go away very quickly.
