More open & bad scar: One wants the best scar from an incision on the neck. Any wound from an infection will need to heal secondarily. If the rides cause bleeding or another infection, then the further delay in wound healing could give a worse scar. At the minimum, do not do any rides where the face and neck get red with activity and could bleed or swell and open again. Keep wound covered & clean.Use ice. Keep head up.
