Hi just had part. thyroidectomy 6 days ago and how soon can i expect the pain (the thyroid pain, not the incision/swollenness) to go away? i'm talking about the burning pain from the tumor all over my body. if pain isn't from tumor, where is it from?

Are you implying that your thyroid tumor was malignant& you're concerned that there is spread of thyroid cancer throughout your body causing generalized pain? The brain communicates with the skin& if you have such concern, your skin may be sensitized. I doubt you have widespread thyroid cancer& hope you can be reassured by your physicians which I believe will alleviate your pain.
