A member asked:

2 groin lymph nodes excised both dermatopathic lymphadenitis features. had razor burn rash before lymph nodes appeared is this why dermatopathic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unusual: Unusual to remove lymph nodes from groin unless pain, drainage, rapid growth, rock-hard consistency. The term is meant to convey the idea of lymph node reaction to something in skin. Perhaps, even probably, the inflammation after shaving was the cause. The DR who did the surgery should check your feet, etc., then discuss this with you.
