Minimum 7-10 days: however, certain cases, if deeply infected could last from 2-3 weeks. with appropriate antibiotic therapy.

Get seen.: After 2 weeks of antibiotics it should be improving. If it has not, you may be on the wrong antibiotic or it may be an abscess (boil), which needs to be drained. See your doctor and get re-examined soon.
