It's oe of a few: Things. It could be a lymph node, breast tissue or infected hair follicle. It's hard to say for sure why it gets painful with menses and otherwise ok unless it responds to hormones. It could be hat u have breast pain and feel it more there b/c of generalized soreness. I would get seen, may improve with simple birth control pill, may need a biopsy, not breast cancer at your age though.
