Repeated folliculitis and armpit abscesses. all successfully treated and gone. i see a dermatologist next week. now i have a tender spot armpit area closer to my arm. there is now lump or warmth. it is just tender. what could it be now?

Most likely low grade infection from same bacteria. Now you have developed immunity, so infection is contained in small area. It is great that you are going on see a dermatologist soon. You can use moist heat in the mean time, Hope it helps.
