Go to the ER!: It is not possible to nail down the exact cause of your symptoms with just the detail provided here. However, black stool, particularly when it is foul-smelling and tarry, can be an indicator of internal bleeding, which can be an emergency. You should go to the emergency room immediately. Do not delay!
