Lymph node: If the general practitioner or the otolaryngologist think that this is a lymph node, and it is FIRM and has been present for 3 months, I would recommend that you have it biopsied. Pea sized is on the small side for a lymph node, however. You should ask the ENT physician directly "should this be biopsied," and if he or she thinks not, ask them to provide a rationale (they may have a good one)
